# MboaTickets FAQ

Frequently asked questions about MboaTickets, the event ticketing platform — a product of Genuka.

## How fast is my ticketing ready?
You tell us about your event on WhatsApp — date, venue, ticket tiers, prices. We handle the entire setup: the complete configuration, **website included and WhatsApp ready to use, takes 24 hours maximum**.

## How do my attendees receive their ticket?
As soon as payment is confirmed, the named QR ticket arrives **automatically in the buyer's WhatsApp chat**. No app to install, no email to dig out: the ticket is right where your guests already are.

## How does check-in at the door work?
Each ticket carries a unique QR code. The MboaTickets team provides **the platform to scan and authenticate tickets** at the door: verification takes seconds, and any already-used or invalid ticket is flagged immediately.

## Can I create several ticket tiers?
Yes. Standard, VIP, VVIP, Early Bird, group rates… We set up **as many tiers and prices as needed**, each with its own capacity.

## What if an attendee loses their ticket?
No problem: the ticket stays in their WhatsApp chat and can be **resent at any time**. The QR remains valid until it is scanned at the door.

## How much does the service cost and who pays the fees?
The Basic plan is 5% + 50 FCFA per ticket sold, with no fixed fee; the Pro plan adds 200,000 FCFA per event (valid 1 year). These are the **platform fees, paid by the organizer** — your attendees only pay the ticket price you set.

## When will I receive the money from my sales?
For **verified business accounts**, payouts happen **at least 72 hours after payments**. For other accounts, payout occurs **one week after payment**.

## What payment methods do my buyers use?
In Africa, payment is by **Mobile Money**. In the US and Europe markets, payment is by **bank card**.

## Which countries is MboaTickets available in?
Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, DR Congo, Gabon, Senegal, Europe and the USA.

## For what event types?
